Nittany Mineral Society: Fluorescent Minerals Continued!

On Wednesday, April 17, the Nittany Mineralogical Society will have its monthly meeting on campus. The meeting will be at 7:45 PM, preceded by social hour at 7 PM. It will be in 116 Earth and Engineering building. The speaker will be Dr. William B. Write, Professor Emeritus of Geochemistry of Penn State, and it will be an overview about fluorescence: "Mineral Fluorescence: From Whence Comes the Light?" Admission is free and refreshments are provided. Minors must be supervised by parent or guardian.
