Join Connie Schulz, SCASD Family Outreach Specialist, and community resource guides to meet other parents and share ideas.

​Topics include:

October 25 - Building Blocks for Better Behavior
We build the foundation for positive behavior by meeting our children’s important needs. We will look at these key needs and share ideas for managing challenges around sleep, eating, and more.

November 1 - Parenting Toolbox
Join us to review several positive discipline techniques that are helpful to teach kids to make good choices. Since there is no single technique works best every time or for every child or situation, it helps to have several ready to try!

November 8 - Talking with Kids about Difficult Issues
Marisa Vicere from the Jana Marie Foundation and Mokita Dialogues will join us to discuss some tips for making it easier to talk with our children about subjects that are important but may make us uncomfortable.

November 15 - Parenting Preteens and Teens
Whether you already have a child who is 10 – 18 or you are thinking ahead, join us to focus on ways to adapt your parenting techniques to meet the developmental needs of teenagers.
