Pets Come First's 11th Annual Dog Jog

Pets Come First is a non-profit, non-euthanasia organization that houses local rescue animals with the intention of finding them loving homes. This Saturday, Pets Come First will be holding its 11th Annual Dog Jog, a fundraiser for the shelter. The 5k run begins at 10:00 AM and the 1.5k walk begins at 11:00 AM. One can register online at as a participant in the jog or he/she could come out and volunteer for the day! Not only does the jog collect donations for Pets Come First, but it also has prizes for runners, $15 microchipping for man’s best friend, a Rescue-Vendor Fair to educate the community on services available for pets, a Silent Auction, and Food Vendors. Additionally, those who register will receive a free bandana and T-shirt. This is a fun event that allows people to enjoy a nice spring day surrounded by dogs and benefits a great cause; you wouldn’t want to miss it!
