Pixie Dust Wishes Race To Neverland

Pixie Dust Wishes is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that grants Disney wishes to children and individuals with special needs/disabilities throughout Pennsylvania. We are similar to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, but we are focused on the disabilities community. Pixie Dust Wishes was founded in Centre County, Pennsylvania in 2017. We are excited for our second annual 5K run, "mile" fun walk, and family festival called Race to Neverland held at Tudek Park in State College, Pennsylvania on August 11th, 2018.

Pre-registration by 11:59PM EST on July 23rd, 2018 guarantees a T-shirt on race day. Registration and check in will begin at 7:30 and will last until 8:00am. The 5K will begin at 8:15 AM after our brief introduction and presentation at 8:00am. The fun walk registration and check in will occur up to 9:15 with the walk beginning at 10AM. Pixie Dust Wishes will be presenting another wish recipient at the conclusion of the 5K at 9:30, with 5K awards following at 9:45. The festival which includes Disney themed arts and crafts, games, a basket raffle, and silent auction will be ongoing from the start of the 5K throughout the morning, with the silent auction and basket raffle winners being announced by 11:30. Peter Pan and friends will be present for photo opportunities throughout the morning as well! Our VERY POPULAR Disney themed COSTUME CONTEST will return again this year so if you choose to do so, come dressed as your favorite Disney character. We will have two prizes for the best costumes, and our photographer will be taking pictures of all of our costume participants to show the Disney magic of The Race to Neverland to everyone.

Children in strollers are permitted to participate in the 5K and fun walk for free UNLESS you want your child to have a t-shirt, then the regular price will be charged. Children 5 and under who are walking are permitted to participate in the fun walk as well UNLESS you want your child to have a t-shirt, and then you will be charged as well.

We will have free food available for all registered runners and walkers including sandwiches, drinks, desserts, fruit, etc.

If you would like a different size shirt than is listed for choices, please email Jaimie Miller at [email protected] with the subject line "t-shirt size for race" and we will try to accommodate your request.

If you would like to volunteer for the race, contact Kathy Swidwa at [email protected]
