Should You Ever Compromise?

Few people ever want to compromise, and yet, sometimes compromising is necessary. When it is, there are good and not-so-good ways to go about it. Rigidly insisting on getting our way is rarely going to help, yet a prayerful approach can make all the difference. Humbly yielding our views and listening in prayer for the inspired, intelligent guidance of God, the divine Mind, can lead to solutions and resolutions that we may never have imagined possible. Fortunately, this doesn’t have to mean surrendering our values, morals, standards, beliefs, and all that we hold dear. It’s really seeing how God, Mind, unites us all and leads us to find common ground for the common good.
