Spring Creek Festival

ClearWater Conservancy will hold its 30th Annual Spring Creek Festival and 5K June 1, 2013 at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center. The festival is free and will take place rain or shine. There will be numerous activities for all ages including a morning 5k run, educational events, conservation displays, food and music that continues through early afternoon.
About 30 Central Pennsylvania agencies, non-profits and outdoors organizations and business will join ClearWater as exhibitors.
Activities for children typically include a sing-along, a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, an aquatic bug hunt, ambulance tours and rocks and minerals.
Adults enjoy live local music and presentations from area conservation and outdoor groups including fly casting and tying lessons, guided tours of the marsh, a presentation about Spring Creek and much more.
Attendance averages about 700 visitors each year.
