The Blind Spots

A CPFA Button is required for this performance.

This all original, female-fronted, five-piece rock band from Ithaca, NY is aiming for bigger and better things and is working hard, creating buzz wherever it performs.

Since the release of its debut album, El Camino Dream in 2010, The Blind Spots have toured extensively, playing both clubs and at a number of summer festivals, including the Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance, Sterling Stage Folkfest, as well as at many colleges, including Cornell University, the University of Vermont, SUNY Brockport, and Elmira College to name a few.

The talent and outsized stage presence of lead singer Maddy Walsh make each Blind Spots show an experience that audiences rave about. Yes, she’s been compared to Janis Joplin more times than you can shake a stick at, but she’s quick to point out that she doesn’t sound a thing like her. “I love Janis to death, but I have very little in common with her vocally. When people see a female vocalist having that much fun commanding the stage, she’s all that comes to mind.”
