Yoga Nidra Deep Relaxation

While technically a form of meditation, most people think of Yoga Nidra as deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra uses breath awareness, body scan, guided visualization and other techniques to re-wire the entire nervous system by teaching you how to do nothing.

We may begin with some movement to help increase our energy and body awareness, but the bulk of this class (the true Yoga Nidra piece) involves lying down in stillness. It is important to be comfortable, so feel free to bring a small pillow for under your head, a small blanket to keep you warm, or a cover for your eyes.
