Clinical Social Worker/Mental Health Therapist

The Pennsylvania State University Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), University Park, has openings for multiple part-time Clinical Service Provider positions available beginning August 26, 2019. Hours worked are negotiable and can range from 16 to 24 hours per week with limited periods of up to 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include providing phone screenings, urgent services, and short-term individual therapy. A Master`s degree in Social Work or a related discipline is required. Current licensure as a Professional Counselor or Clinical Social Worker is preferred. Licensed eligible as a Clinical Social Worker or Professional Counselor is required. Experience providing services to diverse populations, such as, but not limited to, underrepresented, international, and LGBTQ+ students is preferred. Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are 2 1/2 to three hours from State College; and Baltimore is about three hours. State College and the University provide the major intellectual, cultural, and recreational resources for central Pennsylvania.
