Vehicles Must Be Removed from Ferguson Township Streets During Snow

no description

With several inches of snow in the forecast overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, Ferguson Township reminded residents and businesses that vehicles cannot be parked on the street when snow reaches 2 inches or more.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for most of central Pennsylvania, with the latest advisory from the National Weather Service forecasting 3-5 inches to fall between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. in the Centre Region.

Ferguson Township’s notice said that streets must be kept clear so that they can be plowed. Vehicles that remain will be ticketed or towed.

Residents also are reminded to clear sidewalks of snow and ice within 24 hours after the snowfall has ended and that snow may not be shoveled or blown into the street.
