WHAT IS A TWO WAY CONTROLLER?

• A two way controller is an computer interface that can be programmed by the homeowner or installer, to control the functions of the home. Once programmed it will activate lights, appliances, security systems, and audio/video distribution systems.

CAN I INTEGRATE CONTROL OF MY HOME STEREO AND TV WITH MY INTERIOR LIGHTING FOR A HOME THEATER EFFECT?

• Yes. Using an infrared controller, (the same type signal as your tv remote uses), you can interface it with your two way controller to turn on the TV, VCR, stereo, dim the lights, change the channel on the TV, activate play on the VCR, all at the touch of one button.

IF I AUTOMATE MY HOME, WHAT AMOUNT OF ENERGY SAVINGS COULD I EXPECT?

• Each installation varies with what systems you are controlling. Programming appliances to be used during "off peak" hours, heating management systems that have different set points for various times of the day, water heaters that are turned off for specific times of the day will all contribute to energy savings.

AM I LIMITED TO CONTROLLING THESE FUNCTIONS FROM WITHIN THE HOME?

• No. Todays technology allows you to control all functions that are controlled by your interface to be activated remotely. You can use a cellular phone to call home and find out the temperature in the house, or program your VCR so you won't miss that favorite show. The possibilities are indeed endless.

ONCE I HAVE INSTALLED THESE SYSTEMS IN MY HOME, CAN THEY BE REMOVED SO I CAN USE THEM IN MY NEXT HOME?

• Yes. You can either leave the systems in the home and use them as a selling feature, or you can remove all or part of it for your next home. This way you never lose your investment in the hardware.
