Tuesdays Tuesday Night Bluegrass and Gospel Jam-FREE
Everyone is invited to play, sing or just listen to the Bluegrass and Gospel Jam every Tuesday night. Join the guitars, banjos, mandolins, fiddles, harmonicas, dobros and of course, the melodious voices. A 15 minute break is enjoyed by all for some pot luck cookies and/or cakes. No charge for playing or listening. Great fun for all.
Fridays Miss Melanie & the Valley Rats — Every Friday at Otto's
Miss Melanie & the Valley Rats play Rhythm, Blues & Soul every Friday night at 9:00 PM at Otto's Pub and Brewery in State College. Miss Melanie and the Valley Rats specialize in all aspects of the blues, as well as performing roots, soul and New Orleans infused grooves. They have shared stages and/or jammed alongside B.B.
Sundays Summer Sounds 2016
Summer Sounds from The Gazebo in Talleyrand Park are a staple in the Bellefonte summer activity menu. This series began in 1981 and brings nine free concerts every Sunday from June to August at 7:00 p.m. They run about an hour. Musical styles include folk, pop, rock, and jazz. Lawn chairs or blankets are suggested.
