Centre County 4-H invites youth to join

UNIVERSITY PARK — Centre County 4-H is seeking new members, ages 5 to 18, interested in learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.

The largest youth organization in the world, 4-H is for young people in cities, suburbs and rural areas. Members participate in club, county, regional, national and international events.

Club projects include sewing, crafts, plant and animal science, rocketry, science and technology, robotics, Seeing Eye puppy raising, forestry and wildlife, photography, woodworking, cooking, grilling, entomology, jewelry making, pet care and fishing. As part of a 4-H club, young people can participate in club officer training, overnight and day camps, community service, exchange trips and legislative and leadership conferences
