DUBOIS — Penn State DuBois Outreach is offering two technical workshops that aid those employed in the manufacturing industry.
"Production Part Approval Process" is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 7, and "Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis" is set for Wednesday, Oct. 11. Each will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Community Education Center, 4 Erie Ave., St. Marys.

The first course is designed to provide an in-depth view of the fourth edition of the AIAG Production Part Approval Process. Students will discuss the different topics related to PPAP, including significant production run, PPAP requirements, customer notification, submission requirements and part submissions status.

The second workshop will expose students to the benefits of an FMEA process that will aid in eliminating potential failure modes early in the product/process development by emphasizing problem prevention.
