STATE COLLEGE — Fullington Auto Bus Co, recently announced it has purchased Voyager VIP Cruises.

Fullington has partnered with Voyager VIP Cruises and its owner Joyce Williams Boone since Boone moved into the area several years ago.

Voyager offers a variety of cruise and tour options beyond where the wheels of Fullington's buses can travel.

Earlier this year, Boone approached Fullington about retiring and the opportunity was there to purchase the company.

“We’re excited to begin yet another new chapter in our company’s long history,” said owner Michael Fullington.

Fullington began operations in 1908 when Emerson M. Fullington and his three sons began a livery and surrey company in Clearfield.

“That’s my family’s name on the sides of those buses,” said Fullington. “I feel a personal responsibility for making sure we honor that legacy in everything we do as a company.”

Negotiations for the purchase of the company began in early 2018 and concluded in June.
