Police filed theft charges against Elizabeth Longberger after she allegedly used a 70-year-old women’s debit card and bank account to withdraw money and make purchases without the victim’s knowledge in Philipsburg between April 24 and Sept. 14.

Police said they found a 37-year-old Fleming man to be operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance on the 8200 block of South Eagle Valley Road in Worth Township on Aug. 18.

Police have charged a 31-year-old Spring Mills man with theft after he rented a room from the Quality Inn on North Eagle Valley Road and failed to pay in full Aug. 25.

Police reported they arrested Lindsay Perryman, 24, after she was found to be allegedly in possession of marijuana and driving under the influence on North Pennsylvania Avenue in Centre Hall on Aug. 27.

After an investigation, police determined that a burglary occurred on 12 N. Centre St., Philipsburg, on Aug. 27. The incident occurred between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. after someone forced entry to the house through the rear door. A Dell laptop, a PlayStation with a wireless controller, five PlayStation games, body lotion and a pair of black pants were taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Rockview at (814) 355-7545 .

 Police found a vehicle along Spring Valley Road in Benner Township on Sept. 5 that was stolen from Washington, D.C. on Sept. 4. After an investigation, police discovered that David Ishmael Rodriguez, 18, of New York, stole the vehicle, ditched it on Spring Valley Road and then broke into several vehicles and stole money and credit cards. Rodriguez then took a taxi to Putnam County and was picked up by police. He currently is being held in Putnam County, N.Y., with extradition pending. The vehicle was returned to the victim.

Police are investigating a theft that occurred in Marion Township between Sept. 11 and 18. The investigation is ongoing.

Police said they filed criminal mischief charges against a juvenile who entered a barn at 161 N. Filmore Road, Benner Township, and discharged a fire extinguisher which caused damage Sept 16.

Police said they arrested Dain Welch, 35, for harassment during a domestic dispute on Dublinwood Drive in Boggs Township on Sept. 19.

Police said they were called out for a domestic dispute in progress at mile marker 68 on Interstate 99 in Patton Township on Sept 23. When they arrived on the scene, they found Demetrius Daquan Ward, 22, of Belle Vernon, to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and small amount of marijuana. Act 64 charges were filled.

After he allegedly grabbed a knife and threatened his family members, police said they took a 15-year-old male into custody on Abbies Lane in Penn Township on Sept. 24. The juvenile was then released to Centre County Juvenile Probation.

Police said they are looking for information after a 48-year-old woman from Howard was scammed out of money when she sent iTunes gift cards to a person who contacted her online Sept. 23 claiming to be her priest. Anyone with information is asked call state police.

Police said an unknown person tried to take a 38-year-old woman out of her truck at Rebelz Club on Spruce Road in Moshannon by pulling on her ear and then her legs Sept. 23 at 5 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to call state police.

Police have charged Nicholas Woodring, 21, with harassment after they responded to a report that he was intoxicated, irate and shoving his girlfriend at 124 Meadow St., Snow Shoe, on Sept. 23.

Police said they had to physically stop Daniel Joseph Callahan, 45, of Bellefonte from walking out on to Nittany Valley Drive on Sept. 23 because he was intoxicated. He was charged with public drunkenness.

Police report that Brogan Beard, 29, of Bellefonte, fled from officers in his vehicle after they attempted to stop him for traffic violations on Fox Hill Road and Filmore Road on Sept. 23 at 1:02 a.m. Beard was pursued by police and crashed his vehicle near the 900 block of Seibert Road and was arrested for DUI and fleeing and eluding officers.

Police received a report that Stephen N. Crow, 38, of Philipsburg, was repeatedly slamming his exterior door on West Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg in an attempt to annoy his neighbors on Sept. 23. When police arrived, they heard Crow slamming the door several times from another apartment. After the police contacted Crow, he stopped. Crow was cited for disorderly conduct.

Police said they stopped Joseph Jordan Taylor, 25, of Philadelphia, after he was observed committing multiple traffic violations on state Route 322 in Harris Township on Sept. 28. After the stop, they determined that Taylor was DUI.

Police determined that Barry Covey, 63, of Philipsburg, was DUI after they stopped him for multiple traffic violations on Ninth Street in Philipsburg on Sept 28.

Police cited David Wayne Hemsley, 26, of Philipsburg, for public drunkenness after he was found to be shouting and knocking at a door and window of a private residence on Terry Street in Rush Township on Sept. 30. The police determined that Hemsley was highly intoxicated and did not know he was at the incorrect address. He was taken to the correct residence and cited.
