ROCKVIEW STATE POLICE

Police said Stacey Michelle Beck, 47, of Fleetwood, was pulled over for a traffic stop on Interstate 99 at mile marker 72 in College Township on Sept. 23 and was arrested for DUI. Police said the passenger in the vehicle, Thomas Puglieses, 54, of Kutztown, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said Yanori Miranda-Almendars, 21, was arrested after she was found to allegedly be in possession of a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 at mile marker 142 in Snow Shoe on Oct. 16.

Police reported that money and a credit card were taken from an unlocked car on Crust Road in Walker Township on Oct. 17 or 18. The investigation is ongoing.

Police responded to a report of domestic abuse on Jacksonville Road in Marion Township on Oct. 28. Upon arrival, police discovered that a Bellefonte man allegedly pushed a female. The investigation is ongoing.

Police found a 30-year-old man to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia Oct. 20 in Potter Township.

Police responded to a hit-and-run crash where a driver hit a pedestrian on Monument Orviston Road in Liberty Township on Oct. 29. Police said the crash occurred when it was dark and raining and the pedestrian was walking in the right lane of the road where it intersects with Penn Street in Liberty Township and was hit from behind by a dark-colored pickup truck with a loud exhaust. The pedestrian was assessed and transported by Beech Creek EMS to Lock Haven Hospital for minor injuries. It is unknown if the truck was damaged. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (814) 355-7545.

Police responded to the scene of a crash on state Route 550, Buffalo Run Road, after Krystal Parker, 35, of Pittsburgh, allegedly hit a utility pole. Parker’s Chrysler Town and Country sheared the pole and spun 180 degrees clockwise, sustaining damage to the front bumper, hood and driver’s side body panel. When police arrived, Parker was not at the scene of the crash. Police said they later discovered, through further investigation, that Parker was allegedly under the influence of illegal drugs.

On Nov. 1, police said they received a report of a dog bite at the VFW in Philipsburg. After investigation, the police cited the dog’s owner, Donald Eugene Grubb, 48, of Philipsburg, for the incident. Shot records for the dog were reviewed and found to be current.

Police responded to 138 E. Main St., Millheim, after multiple windows, with a value of $150, were broken on the front porch Nov. 2.

Police reported that a driver struck a deer on Interstate 99 at mile marker 68 in Patton Township on Nov. 4 at 9:38 p.m. The driver was uninjured, but his vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
