A 30-year-old-man from Munson was cited on March 8 after he allegedly wrote a check for $127.20 to Auto Body Parts Outlet in Philipsburg without sufficient funds in the account to cover the check, said police. Certified mail was sent to the man and after a 10-day notice period the payment was still not made.

During a traffic stop on North Eagle Valley and Lower Greens Run Roads in Howard Township on April 8, police said they took a 21-year-old Lock Haven man into custody for suspected DUI. Charges are pending a legal blood draw.

Ryan Lauder of Port Matilda was arrested for alleged drug possession on April 8 after police said they found 26 grams of suspected marijuana during a probable cause search. Lauder was stopped on North High Street and I-99 in Worth Township on April 8. Police said they conducted the search because indicators of drug activity were present.

Police said they cited Dain Welch, 37, of Bellefonte, and Paula Rhoades, 55, of Milesburg, with harassment by physical contact. Police said that Welch allegedly pushed and grabbed Rhoades and Rhoades allegedly pushed Welch on April 8 at 118 Dublinwood Drive in Boggs Township.

Lindsey Hockenberry, of Bellefonte, was injured and taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center after a crash on Axeman Road in Spring Township on April 9. The crash occurred as she was driving south and navigating a left curve when her vehicle exited the roadway to the right for unknown reasons. It then began to spin counter clockwise and struck a utility pool on the passenger side. The vehicle then reentered the roadway briefly before crashing into a concrete barrier on the right side of the road. Hockenberry was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

Police are investigating after a man had a gun waved at him by someone driving a truck and made non-specific threatening statements on Lake Road in Potter Township on April 10.
