A juvenile female from Aaronsburg was subjected to unwanted physical contact on Penns Valley Road in Penn Township on April 10, said police. The investigation is ongoing.


Police said they arrested Jason Claude, 40, of Reading, for possession of suspected synthetic marijuana while at Benner Township Correctional Facility on April 27.


While driving on Interstate 80 near mile marker 181 on May 1, Varinder Singh, of Valley Stream, N.Y., failed to notice a car slowed in front of him and crashed into it, according to police. Singh suffered an internal injury and was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center and his car was towed from the scene. The driver in the other car was not injured and was able to drive away from the scene. Singh was charged with speeding.  


Rockview patrol and crime members conducted a saturation detail along with Troop G CPT members, the Centre County sheriff and probation departments, Troop G Vice and PSP K-9 Units on April 30 to May 1 in Rush and Worth townships and Philipsburg Borough. As a result, 10 individuals were arrested for drug related violations, eight warrants were served, 11 citations were issued and 37 written warnings were giving. Methamphetamine, heroin, prescription medication and marijuana were seized during the detail.


Police said they arrested a 20-year-old Dover woman after a traffic stop on Interstate 99 in College Township on May 4 for alleged drug possession. She was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of suspected marijuana.


A juvenile male from Julian was cited for harassment with physical contact after he allegedly struck his father in the face during a verbal altercation on Unionville Pike in Union Township on May 4, according to police.


Police said Susan Humenik was uninjured after her vehicle struck a deer on state Route 305 in Rush Township on May 4.
