Police said they charged a 15-year-old Philipsburg boy with burglary after he admitted to stealing Airpod ear buds from a residence on Eighth Street in Philipsburg between June 30 and July 7. An Airwalk Hooverboard, valued at $250, and an airsoft pellet gun, valued at $50, were also stolen.



Police said that Donald Henderson, 57, of Millheim, was charged with an alleged DUI after he was stopped for a traffic violation on North Pennsylvania Avenue and Irvin Ally in Centre Hall on July 5.


Police said a driver fled from the scene after a crash on Route 45 in Penn Township at 9:35 p.m. on July 20. Police report that the vehicle struck the guard and it is unknown how much damage the vehicle sustained.


Officers said they are investigating an incident of alleged assault on High Street that occurred July 21 to 27 in Rush Township after a 53-year-old Port Matilda woman said a 58-year-old Philipsburg man assaulted her approximately four days prior to reporting it. Police said that upon speaking with the man, they learned he had much more extensive injuries than the woman. The investigation is ongoing.


A 27-year-old Millheim man was arrested for harassment with physical contact after he allegedly engaged in a physical domestic dispute with his girlfriend and her sister on July 22, said police.

Police charged Jasmine Hoffman, 18, of Renovo, with harassment with physical contact after she allegedly threatened to beat up and bumped into another woman with her shoulder and hips several times at The Meadows Psychiatric Center, Housing Unit C, on July 28.


A Howard woman had her identify stolen and an account opened in her name on July 29, said the investigating officer.


Police said they cited Lori Pfahler, 51, of Blanchard, for harassment with physical contact, after she was involved in a physical altercation with another woman at 119 Clover Lane, Liberty Township, at 5:58 p.m. on July 29. Police said that Pfahler allegedly pushed the other woman during the altercation.


Police, fire and EMS crews responded to a crash that occurred on Halfmoon Valley Road in Halfmoon Township on July

31. The crash occurred when Lawrence Lyons, of Bellefonte, fell asleep while driving. His vehicle entered the oncoming traffic lane and struck a utility pole. He was cited for careless driving and was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by Port Matilda EMS for his injuries.


A man had $67 in cash taken from his wallet on Oklawaha Street in Milesburg on Aug. 3. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (814) 355-7545.


A car caught fire after striking a deer on German Settlement Road in Burnside Township on Aug. 4. Police said a Karthaus man was traveling east on the road when two deer crossed in front of him, causing him to hit the deer head on. After impact, the car came to final rest and caught fire. The man was uninjured. The car sustained extensive fire damage.
