by on October 27, 2009 7:34 AM

Every Tuesday this semester, we’ve introduced you to a different faculty member from Penn State.

Already we’ve met Lanny Sommese, of Arts Festival fame, College of Earth and Mineral Sciences professor Peter Wilf, IST professor James Wang, the College of Education's Don Heller and the College of Engineering's Patrick McDaniel.

POLL: Faculty Q+A

Of the profiles in Faculty Q+A so far, which did you find the most interesting? Links are in the second paragraph.

The people are interesting; the column should be as well.

Check back next week for a new look for the Faculty Q+A. In addition to having a simple, readable format, the Q+A will also be more visually appealing.

In the meantime, let us know of a professor you’d like to see profiled on the Faculty Q+A. He or she should have interesting research or a captivating personality. If he or she has been at Penn State for many years, we’re interested as well.

Whether you’re an alumnus who remembers a favorite professor or a student who have a favorite class, we want your nominations.

We want to know what you think. E-mail comments and criticism to Managing Editor Terry Casey at terry.casey@statecollege.com.
