14 Area Bridges To Be Repaired Or Replaced

According to the Lock Haven Express, 14 bridges in Clinton and Centre counties will be repaired as part of Governor Ed Rendell's Rebuild Pennsylvania accelerated bridge repair program.  The announcement was made during a lunch meeting of the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County.

There will be six bridges in Clinton County that will receive repairs.  The estimated cost of the repairs is $5.4 million.

Eight bridge projects are scheduled in Centre County with an estimated cost of $6.3 million.  The Route 1005 bridge over Marsh Creek in Boggs Township, the Route 1005 bridge over Nittany Creek in Marion Township, and the Route 1001 bridge over Marsh Creek in Curtin Township will all be replaced.

Bridges located in Gregg, Rush, and Worth townships will be repaired.  (Read More)
