3 Injured in Crash That Closed Part of U.S. 322 in Boalsburg

Three people were injured, including one who was taken from the scene by helicopter, after a multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on U.S. 322 in Boalsburg.

The crash happened at about 3:45 p.m. between the Old Fort/Route 45 exit and the Bear Meadows Road/Elks Club Road intersection. The road was closed until about 6 p.m.

Boalsburg Fire Company, Alpha Fire Company, Centre LifeLink EMS and Mount Nittany Medical Center ambulance and State College police responded to the scene.

A LifeFlight helicopter was called to the scene to take one person to an undisclosed hospital, according to Boalsburg Fire Company.
