4 Contestants Compete for Grange Fair Queen

The 16th Centre County Grange Fair Queen pageant will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Southside Stage of the Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall. This year’s pageant has four contestants. They are:

Madison Peters is the 16-year-old daughter of Todd and Stephanie Peters of Bellefonte. She attends Bald Eagle Area High School and CPI. She is involved in varsity softball and cheerleading. She enjoys art, baking and spending time outdoors fishing. She plans on attending college to further her medical science career.

Roselyn Weaver is the 16-year-old daughter of David and Stephanie Weaver of Philipsburg. She attends Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School. Her hobbies and activities include playing softball and participating in cross country. She takes part in many clubs in and out of school. She plans on attending college to become a physician assistant and to continue to help on the family farm.

Morgan Bair is the 17-year-old daughter of Jason and Christine Bair of Centre Hall. She attends Centre County Christian Academy and will serve a second term as student body president in her senior year. She enjoys playing piano, singing and participating on the girls’ varsity soccer and basketball teams. She plans on attending Bob Jones University and major in pre-physical therapy while taking vocal pedagogy as a minor. She plans to pursue a doctor of physical therapy degree.

Gabrielle Swavely is the 20-year-old daughter of Steve and Jeanette Corl Swavely of Pennsylvania Furnace. She is a 2017 graduate of State College Area High School. She was the 2018-19 Centre County Dairy Princess. She currently works in retail and at the Dreibelbis Dairy Farm LLC. She is the assistant coach to the Nittany Dreamers Baton and Silk Corp. She is also an intern with the Northeast AgriSolution Force and Feedworks USA. She plans on enrolling at Penn State in agricultural science with a focus on agribusiness and dairy nutrition or dairy genetics.
