ABC News Asks Court to Use Photos of Victim 1 During Interview

ABC News wants permission from Judge John Cleland to use the photos of Victim 1 from Jerry Sandusky's trial during an exclusive interview with the young man who launched a grand jury investigation.

The special is scheduled to air on ABC News' program, 20/20 at 10 p.m. on Friday.

According to documents filed in Centre County Court on Wednesday, ABC News wants to use the photographs Victim 1 was asked to identify himself in during his testimony in June.

In September, counsel for Victim 1 announced he was granting an exclusive interview with ABC and will subsequently be releasing a tell-all book.

Victim 1, 18 years old at the time of his testimony, told officials in 2008 he had been abused by Sandusky for years. At first, no one believed him. Eventually his allegations launched the grand jury investigation that led to the grand jury presentment that indicted Sandusky.

Sandusky, 68, was sentenced to 30-60 years in prison on Oct. 9 for his sex crimes.
