Adopt-A-Pet at Centre County PAWS

by on December 07, 2013 10:00 AM

Treasure, a young Yellow Lab/Golden Retriever mix female, is ready to go home for the holidays.

Treasure is looking for patient parents who will use positive reinforcement and kindness with her. She will pay you back with kisses a thousand times over.

This sweetheart also hopes her parents won't mind her lying on their laps and cuddling. She is super affectionate with a playful personality. Treasure loves going for walks and will chase balls and tussle for hours on end. She is very smart, knows lots of commands already and is eager to please.

Treasure has many wonderful qualities but she needs caring owners who can help her overcome some behavior issues. She is sometimes shy around new people and may bark at first. She can be fearful around some folks and is not suited for a home with children.

While she loves playing with other dogs, Treasure is looking for a home where she is the only pet. Her foster family says, "Treasure is a wonderful girl who just needs a fresh start. If you have plenty of love to share Treasure will melt your heart."

Treasure and her family will be treated to free training once she is adopted. Treasure also has a Guardian Angel who has generously paid her adoption fee.
