Adopt-A-Pet at Centre County PAWS

by on January 04, 2014 8:45 AM

After closing for the holidays, PAWS re-opens on Jan. 4 and Shiva couldn’t be more excited to re-start her search for her forever family.

This mature 9½ -year-old German Shepherd lady is looking for a loving family to spend her retirement with.

Don't let Shiva’s age fool you -- she still loves to swim, go on short walks and car rides.

She would love to help keep her family in shape by taking daily 15- to 20-minute walks.

The only thing Shiva asks is that her new home does not have a lot of steps and slippery floors since she has some arthritis in her hind legs.

Shiva would do well in a home with older children and other dogs, but she is not a fan of cats.

She's fully house broken so Shiva can be left in the house alone and she also knows many commands.

If you would like to learn more about Shiva, click HERE. You can also meet her in person at PAWS, 1401 Trout Road in State College.

Shiva’s adoption fee has already been graciously paid for by her Guardian Angel.
