Adopt-A-Pet at Centre County PAWS

Tolstoy looks like a Russian Blue, a type of purebred cat with a solid gray coat, so he's named after a famous Russian author.

You know -- Leo Tolstoy -- "War and Peace." You've probably heard of him!

He's a very lucky cat. Tolstoy was a scrawny stray with an injured back when he was rescued by a wonderful person who found Tolstoy in his back yard.

Tolstoy was miserable and lonely but a vet fixed him up. His back healed and he gained weight.
Tolstoy's rescuer kept him for a year, but he had too many cats.

And that's why Tolstoy landed at PAWS. He's a very nice boy -- outgoing, friendly, and playful!

Tolstoy's Guardian Angel has generously paid his adoption fee as a gift to his forever family.

You can meet Tolstoy at PAWS, 1401 Trout Road in State College.
