Adopt-A-Pet at Centre County PAWS

by on June 28, 2014 7:16 AM

Stuart is a two-month-old German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy who came to PAWS along with his brother and sister.

This cutie has some trouble walking because his back legs don't work very well.

However, that doesn't slow Stuart down much. (You should see him hop!)

Luckily the orthopedic vet says his hips and bones are growing fine, so Stuart probably just needs to build his muscles with lots of walking and playing on non-slippery surfaces, like grass and carpet.

Stuart isn't yet crate trained or house broken, and like most pups his age he's a little mouthy, so he wouldn't be a good match for a home with small children.

This pup hasn't even met any cats but could most likely learn to live with one. He will be neutered prior to adoption.

Stuart is living with a foster home, but you can meet him at PAWS, 1401 Trout Rd., State College, on Sunday from 12 - 2 p.m.

For more information on Stuart and any of the dogs and cats available for adoption, visit the PAWS website.
