Another Penn State Tuition Increase Possible

According to the Daily Collegian, tuition rates for the Penn State 2009-10 school year could possibly increase by 5.5 percent for in-state students if the state legislature approves the university's request for appropriations.  The potential increase would raise tuition rates by 4.5 percent for out-of-state students at the University Park campus.



The potential tuition increase for in-state students and out-of-state students at the Commonwealth Campuses would increase by 4.9 percent.



Tuition for freshmen and sophomore in-state students at University Park is currently $13,014.59.  Last year, tuition for freshmen and sophomore in-state students at University Park was $12,284.  (Read More)
