Two top Penn State administrators have been charged, too, as criminal claims against Jerry Sandusky emerge, The Associated Press reported Saturday, citing authorities.

The university's athletics director, Tim Curley, and senior vice president for finance and business, Gary Schultz, are expected to turn themselves in Monday in Harrisburg, according to the AP report, which cites the state attorney general's office.

Sandusky, a former Penn State football assistant coach, was arrested Saturday, the wire service noted.

Sandusky is facing 40 criminal charges, many alleging sexual abuse of minors. Curley and Schultz are "charged with perjury and failure to report in an investigation into allegations" against Sandusky, according to the AP report.

Schultz retired from Penn State in 2009 as university treasurer and senior vice president for finance and business. In summer 2011, Schultz was named to fill the position again -- on an interim basis -- after his successor, Al Horvath, announced that he was leaving the university for another job.
