Behind the Scenes Tour of State High Project

by on March 20, 2017 11:08 AM

In less than a year, students will be moving into the new State College Area High School south building.

The State High project was made possible after voters approved an $85 million debt referendum in May 2014, and site work began in the summer of 2015. Though the project will continue into 2019 with two more phases -- including renovations and additions to the remaining portions of the old south building and new construction at the north building -- the high school will mark a major milestone when the new building opens in January 2018.

Last week, State College Area School District offered a behind the scenes look at progress to date and what's ahead for the project, led by project manager Tim Jones of Massaro CM Services.
