Bell Waives Formal Arraignment

According to the Daily Collegian, suspended Nittany Lion wide receiver Chris Bell waived his formal arraignment Tuesday for charges related to an incident in Pollock Dining Commons last month.

Bell threatened a teammate with a cooking knife on April 7th after a dispute over a cell phone case.  Bell was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, and two counts of harassment.  After the incident, Bell was suspended from the football team and banned from campus.

Bell's pretrial conference is scheduled for July 22nd.  (Read More)
