CATA Bus Stop Closed Due to College Avenue Construction

by on June 12, 2014 9:40 AM

Construction on East College Avenue is knocking a busy bus stop out of service in downtown State College.

The Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) says buses will not be able to make stops at the intersection of East College Avenue and Heister Street.

That's one of the stops providing service to and from the Penn State campus.

CATA riders will have to use alternate bus stops. CATA recommends the stop outside the White Building on Shortlidge Avenue or the stop at College Avenue and South Allen Street.

The Heister Street bus stop is expected to remain closed for several days.

For more information about bus schedules visit the CATA website or call (814) 238-CATA(2282).
