Clear, Cool Evening Predicted for 4th Fest Fireworks

by on July 04, 2014 7:00 AM

AccuWeather is predicting cooler temperatures and less humidity for Independence Day.

"It's going to feel much nicer across the area as we lose that humidity that we've had in recent days," says AccuWeather Meteorologist Andy Mussoline.

Friday will be partly sunny with a high around 72.

About 9 p.m., when fireworks begin, the air temperature is expected to be about 65 with a slight breeze.

"You might want to bring a sweatshirt if people are going out to enjoy the fireworks, but the good news no rain in sight," says Mussoline.

The low overnight into Saturday will be about 52, which is 10 degrees cooler than usual, says Mussoline.

Saturday will be sunny with low humidity and a high of about 78. Sunday will be mostly sunny with a little more humidity and a high around 82.
