CRPR Easter Egg Hunt Will Mark 58th Year with a New Location

by on March 06, 2018 4:29 PM

Centre Region Parks and Recreation's big annual Easter egg hunt is headed to a new and bigger location.

The 58th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will move to Oak Hall Regional Park, 120 Linden Hall Road in Boalsburg, after previously being held at Orchard Park in State College. This year's event will take place on Saturday, March 31.

"Because CRPR’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt continues to grow, we need more space to hide the eggs, as well as better access and parking for our participants," a CRPR release stated.

The 68-acre Oak Hall Regional Park fits that bill, with plenty of parking, space to run and more places to hide thousands of eggs. It also provides space to open a concession stand to serve beverages throughout the day.

Beginning at 1 p.m., the event will have a new feature this year with family games and activities before the hunt, as well as walk the trails and enjoy the views of the valley before the Easter Bunny arrives.

The egg hunt will start at 2 p.m.
