Penn State football picked up another recruit Saturday in three-star defensive end Jonathan Holland.

Holland is a 6’3″, 235-pound prospect from the Bullis School in Potomac, Md.

Rivals ranks him 29th nationally at his position, and as the 11th-best recruit in the state. Rivals’ Ryan Snyder was the first with the news:

Holland also announced the decision himself:

Holland weighed offers from many of the nation’s top programs, including national champion Florida State, Georgia, and Pittsburgh. Big Ten schools floated offers to him as well, including Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois.

According to his Hudl page, Holland runs a 4.80 40-yard dash, has a 26-inch vertical, and benches 250 pounds. He garnered a collection of honors in his junior season, including First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-County, and C/O 2015 All State First Team Defense.

Penn State’s 2015 recruiting class, which Rivals ranks as the second-best in the country behind only Alabama, now has 13 commits, all of whom are three stars or better. Holland is the third defensive end in Penn State’s class.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a James Franklin commit without:
