Penn State football returns in just over a month, as the Nittany Lions will play the annual Blue-White game on April 21 at Beaver Stadium.

The intrasquad scrimmage is the centerpiece of a busy weekend and will kickoff at 3 p.m., but plenty more will be happening on a busy spring weekend in Happy Valley.

If you're going to the game, admission is free and gates open at 1:30 p.m., but here's what to know about parking:

- Season ticket and season parking permit holders from the 2017 season received a white 2018 Blue-White Game parking permit with their 2017 ticket booklet last summer. The Blue-White Game pass is valid for the white or yellow lots.

- Fans may purchase a yellow permit for $20 in advance by calling 1-800-NITTANY until April 6 or at the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office until April 20, or pay cash upon arrival.

- Friday Overnight RV arrival with a white 2018 Blue White permit issued with their 2017 parking permit will pay $60 at the ORV lot.

- Friday Overnight RV arrival with no permit will be charged $100 at the ORV lot.

- Saturday RV arrival with an RV permit issued with the 2017 season permit will be admitted without charge.

- Saturday RV arrival with no permit will be charged $40 at the ORV lot.

The team bus arrival will be at 11:45 a.m. and the player autograph session will be held from 12:15-1:05 p.m. Players will be at ates A, B, C, E and F of Beaver Stadium and will be permitted to sign one item per person.

Fan Fest, which includes displays, vendors and activities for kids, will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Curtin Road.

The Blue-White Family Fun Zone, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 9 a.m to 11 a.m. in Holuba Hall. The event includes game stations run by Penn State teams, live entertainment, interactive games and novelty stations and giveaways.

On Sunday, April 22, the 9th Annual Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run/Family Fun Walk to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania is set for 11 a.m. Participants will finish at the 50-yard line in Beaver Stadium for the 3-mile run or 1-mile walk.

The Penn State All-Sports Museum will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 20, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April, 22.

In other Penn State sports on Blue-White weekend, the Nittany Lion women's tennis team has matches at 4 p.m. on Friday against Northwestern and 11 a.m. on Sunday against Illinois.

Finishing the weekend's events, Newsboys with special guest Zealand perform at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, in the Bryce Jordan Center.

An estimated 68,000 fans attended the 2017 Blue-White Game.
