Ferguson Township Police Warn Residents About Car Break-Ins
A series of car break-in in Pine Grove Mills has police searching for suspects -- and warning resident to take precautions.
Ferguson Township Police say there were three car break-ins this past weekend. In each case, the cars were unlocked.
These break-ins occurred in the Hillside Farms, Thistlewood, Somerset and Westfield neighborhoods
Small electronic items and cash were taken out of the cars. Police say they cannot release information about the value of the stolen items.
Investigators say that car break-ins are unusual for the area. Police are investigating all of the break-ins and are not sure yet if they are related.
Residents of Pine Grove Mills as well as other neighborhoods in Ferguson Township should be locking up their doors at night, police say.
