Fire Leaves Five Homeless

An early morning fire on Tuesday in Juniata County left five people homeless and sent two to the hospital. According to the Lewiston Sentinel, the fire occurred at a house on Texas Hollow Road in Walker Township.

Both individuals transported to the hospital were later released. The cause of the fire has not been determined. (Read More)

Prank Turns Into Felony Charge

A prank ended with burglary charges for two students yesterday. According to the Daily Collegian, charges were filed against Jake R. Pollack and Devon B. Hoffman in connection with an early-morning burglary at a fraternity. The two students stole only a can of root beer.
