Football Player Receives DUI

Two days after being suspended from the Penn State football team, tight end Andrew Quarless, 19, was arraigned on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and related violations. 

According to the Daily Collegian, Quarless ran a red light while driving downtown at 3 a.m. Sunday.  After being stopped by police, Quarless failed a field sobriety test. His blood-alchool content was measured at .084.

Quarless was also cited for underage drinking in August of last year.  (More Info)
