Four Arrested For Drug Charges

The Pennsylvania State Police executed arrest warrants on four people, including two Penn State students, who are accused of selling small amounts of cocaine or marijuana to confidential informants in the past year.

According to the Daily Collegian Penn State student Justin J. Owens, 501 Vairo Blvd., State College was charged with four counts of possession of marijuana, three counts of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of criminal use of a communication facility, two counts of delivery of marijuana and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

A search warrant was executed on Owens' residence and police found 11 baggies of marijuana, four smoking pipes, a water bong, and other paraphernalia.

Penn State student Kathryn Elizabeth Hill, 10 Vairo Blvd., State College was charged with two counts each of delivery of marijuana, criminal use of a communication facility, possession with intent to deliver, and possession of marijuana.

Bridgette Bortle, of Sayer, was charged with one count each of delivery of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, and possession of cocaine.

Also charged was Vasil Paraskevas, 563 Marjorie Mae Street, State College.  Paraskevas was charged with one count each of possession with intent to deliver, possession of crack cocaine, delivery of crack cocaine, and criminal use of a communication facility.
