Frozen Foods Recalled From Local Stores

A couple of frozen food items have been recalled from local stores this week.
Giant Food Stores and Martin’s Food Markets have removed two Stouffer Lean Cuisine products from their shelves due to a Class 1 recall announced by Nestle USA, the product manufacturer.
Stouffer Lean Cuisine Chicken Mediterranean Meal in a 10.5 ounce package with “best before” dates of September 2010, October 2010 and November 2010 was one product removed yesterday. The other product being the Stouffer Lean Cuisine Grilled Chicken Tuscan Meal in a 12 ounce package with “best before” dates of September 2009, October 2009 and November 2009.
Consumers are encouraged to check their freezers and return the items to the store for a full refund.
