Illenium will bring electronic music and dubstep beats to the Bryce Jordan Center as part of the “Ascend” tour on Oct. 3.

Tickets for the general public, starting at $49.50, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16 online and at Jordan Center ticket outlets, Penn State University Park students can receive a $20 discount on select seats beginning at noon Thursday, Aug. 15 online through Account Manager or at the BJC box office.

Nick Miller began producing music in the early 2010s and after a series of EPs and collaborations released his first studio album as Illenium in 2016. The Denver-based EDM musician and DJ has released two studio albums to date. His third, “Ascend,” is slated for release Friday and will be the focal point of the upcoming tour.

The artist also has a knack for mixing and producing songs alongside other artists. Illenium’s collaborative single with Jon Bellion, “Good Things Fall Apart,” peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard charts, while remixes of The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down” and Flume’s “Say It” garnered national attention.

Illenium joins a fall lineup at the Jordan Center that so far includes the Jonas Brothers (Sept. 4), Jason Aldean (Sept. 21), Shinedown (Sept. 28), The Chainsmokers (Sept. 29), Twenty One Pilots (Oct. 18), Jeff Dunham (Oct. 25) and Casting Crowns and Hilltop Worship (Nov. 20).
