Letter: Brian Marshall Brings the Fresh Perspective We Need

on November 02, 2017 4:30 AM

On November 7, I am proud to vote for Brian Marshall for Centre County Judge. As a partner in Miller, Kistler and Campbell, and as the 2017 Centre County Bar Association president, Brian is a leader in his profession. He has earned a 10.0 rating and numerous 5-star reviews from his clients on avvo.com, a leading lawyer rating website.

Brian has worked tirelessly throughout his career not only to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients both in the courtroom and out, but has also assembled an unmatched set of skills that help him serve his clients and would make him an excellent judge. He is a former Certified Public Accountant, and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, signifying his command of financial issues. He also is a trained mediator and trained in Collaborative Law, demonstrating his recognition of the importance of fairness, listening to all parties and making decisions based on the evidence and the law.

When asked at the recent League of Women Voters Candidates’ Forum what specialized training he had, Brian’s opponent cited his brief work as a law clerk more than 30 years ago. With the ongoing spotlight shining on the Centre County Court, it is past time for change.

On November 7, it is time to bring a fresh perspective to the court. Vote Brian Marshall for Centre County Judge.
