Letter: Brian Marshall for Centre County Judge

on May 13, 2017 5:00 AM

Most people don’t ever plan to appear before a judge. If one day they find themselves in a courtroom, we think they would want to know the person on the bench has not only the skills and experience to be a judge, but is also patient, compassionate, and committed to integrity and fairness. Brian Marshall has all those qualities, and more.

We have known Brian and his family for more than 10 years, and wholeheartedly support him for the position of Centre County Judge. He has the right combination of skills, experience, and temperament for this very important position.

Brian is a partner in Miller, Kistler & Campbell, where he practices in diverse areas of civil and criminal law, which are the cases that most often come before a judge. Even more importantly, he has pursued extensive specialized training in areas relevant to serving as judge. He is trained in collaborative law, is a trained mediator, and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Those additional qualifications set him apart and demonstrate his commitment to fairness and treating everyone who enters his courtroom equally.

When you go to the polls for the primary election on May 16, vote for Brian Marshall for Centre County Judge. Our county deserves someone like Brian, who demonstrates integrity, fairness, and compassion in everything he does.
