Roving patrols with the Centre County Alcohol Task Force caught seven people for DUI over the arts-festival weekend, police announced early Monday.
The special patrols included officers from State College borough and Ferguson, Patton and Spring townships. They issued 21 traffic citations and handled one minor's-law violation, two disorderly-conduct calls and two drug arrests, according to a news release.
They also issued 70 warnings as part of their weekend work, which included a "Cops-n-Shops" detail, according to the release.
In addition, officers with the task force responded to a burglary-in-progress and served one warrant.
These statistics do not include any arrests made or citations issued by police on normal patrol.
Authorities said the special Alcohol Task Force details will continue throughout the year.
