Money Trouble Closes Three Uni-Mart Stores

An operator of three Uni-Mart stores in Bellefonte shut down his businesses last weekend after several years of losing money.

According to the Centre Daily Times, the stores at 111 South Wilson Street, 341 West Lamb Street, and 300 Willowbank Street have not opened since last week, and gasoline has not been sold at the latter two locations since last week.  The stores are dark inside and show no signs of activity.  "Closed For Inventory" signs have been hung on all of the doors.  (Read More)
