Monster-Truck Shows Set for Jordan Center

Monster trucks will roll into Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center for two shows in early April, the university announced.

The E3 Spark Plugs Monster Truck Nationals will bring seven monster trucks and a team of motorcycle stunt riders to the venue, according to a news release. Both shows will begin at 7:30 p.m.; one each is scheduled for April 1 and April 2.

"The show will provide an up-close and personal monster-truck experience," the release reads. Ticket prices range from $12 for children to $19.50 for adults, though $14 family four-packs are available for groups that include at least one adult.

A driver-autograph session will be held two hours before each show, according to the news release. Tickets for the shows are available via,, the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office, Eisenhower Auditorium, the Penn State Theatre Downtown and the Altoona campus ticket outlet.
