National Weather Service Issues Frost Advisory

by on October 11, 2014 8:05 AM

It's time to throw another log on the fire.

We're expecting some of the coldest temperatures so far this fall.

In fact, the National Weather Service has posted a Frost Advisory.

The Frost Advisory will be in effect from 4 a.m. until 9 a.m. Sunday morning.

AccuWeather says temperatures will top out at about 57 degrees on Saturday but we'll see sharply cooler temperatures overnight with some areas getting frost.

That could be deadly to sensitive vegetation.

Potted plants that are normally left outside should be covered or brought inside to protect them from the cold.
